The idea for this came when Chris came home from school with a list of more than 70 countries and capitals to learn and a friend bet I couldn't find anything to rhyme with Paramaribo...

If you would like to contribute a limerick:
- it should be suitable for children
- it should contain name of capital and a reference to the country or nationality
- great if it contains something relevant eg geography, wildlife, tourist attractions, politics
- preferably original. If it isn't, please no copyright restrictions and let me know the source.
Original photographs are also welcome! Also any cities not yet covered: a photo of Brazzaville may be just the incentive needed to inspire a verse about the Congo!
